George Mashanic, III (Bud)
Age 86 of Elmira Heights, NY, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, very unexpectedly.
Bud was born on August 17, 1936 in Elmira, NY the son of the late George and Marion (Pfieffer) Mashanic.
He retired in 2018 from Wenzel Construction.
Bud is survived by wife of 64 years, Barbara (McCarty) Mashanic; daughter, Jill (Edward) Kreisler; son, Joel (Elisha) Mashanic;
grandchildren, Daniel and Craig (Angela) Kreisler, Bryce and Chase Mashanic; Matthew and Joseph Mashanic; sister-in-law, Kathy Mashanic; several nieces and nephews, two loving dogs, Bindi and Blu.
He was predeceased by his son, Bruce Mashanic; brothers, Robert, Charles, John, and Joseph Mashanic; sisters, Jean Mourhess; Patricia Donahue, and Kathryn Murphy.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
