Frances B. Brown

Brown, Frances B.Age 77 of the Villa Serene Apartments Elmira Heights, NY. Passed away Monday, August 06, 2001 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center very unexpectedly. She was born November 24, 1923 in Kane, PA, the daughter of the late Andrew Bernard and Lola (Starner) Berggren. Her survivors include: brother, Alonzo (Kathryn) Berggren of Elmira Heights, NY; sister, Bernice Redner of Horseheads, NY; brother, Robert Berggren of Elmira Heights, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. Frances was employed by Thatcher Glass Co. and worked in the packaging department until retiring after several years of faithful service. She was the past President of the Horseheads American Legion Women?s Auxiliary. At her request there will be no prior visitation. Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY.
