Florence C. Edwards

Age 89 passed away November 29, 2002 in St. Joseph?s Hospital, Elmira, NY. She was born in Key West, Florida on November 15, 1913 and lived in Florida throughout her youth. A member of St. Patrick?s parish, the widow of Arland Leo Edwards was a kind and gentle person who was well liked by all. Mrs. Edwards, a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, is survived by her five children: Arlene Edwards of Elmira; Patricia (Roger) Hamlin of E. Lansing, MI; Robert (Karen) Edwards of Elmira; William Edwards of New York City; John (April) Edwards of Elmira; and her grandchildren, Eric and Amanda Hamlin; Ashley, Danielle, and Arland Edwards. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn National Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at 10 AM in St. Patrick?s Church, 604 Park Place, Elmira, NY 14901. Mrs. Edwards was, and her family is, grateful to everyone who was kind, caring, and helpful to her during her many illnesses.
