Age 85 of Bethany Courtyard, Horseheads, NY formerly of Luce Street, Elmira.Her husband, John F. Mc Elligott in 1994, her son, John T. Mc Elligott in 1997, grandson, Joseph Bauer in 1989, and sister, Frances Naida, predeceased Flossie.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Gerald Bauer of Elmira, NY; son, Frederick Mc Elligott (Margaret) ofElmira, NY; brother, Herman Holdren of Corning, NY; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen and Gene Ploucha of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Sherrie Bauer and Sam Pizzo; Debra and Kevin Qualey; Karen and Tim Sanphy; Rick and Allison Mc Elligott; Beth Mc Elligott; and Debbie Durgen; Trisha and Danny Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Emily and Hannah Qualey; Shannon Sanphy; Madison and Trey Hawkins; and Austin Mc Elligott.Flossie was an inspiration to us all.Everyone who knew her loved her. She will be missed but not forgotten, as she had many friends.Flossie worked many years at St. Joseph?s Hospital and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter & Paul?s Church, Elmira, NY on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 12:30 PM, with Father Patrick Connor celebrating the Mass.Interment will follow in Woodlawn National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial donations in Flossie?s name to St. Joseph?s Hospital Memorial Fund, 555 E.
