Evelyn L. Edwards

Age 83 formerly of 300 South Main Street, Elmira, NY, passed away August 13, 2002 at Elcor Health Services. Evelyn was the daughter of the late James E. and Alta Jenkins Quigley. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, A. Reeve Edwards, on January 20, 1992. Surviving Evelyn are her loving children; Richard (Bonnie) Edwards of Palmyra, NY, Jeri Anne Jones of Elmira, NY, Donna Edwards (Dale Welty) of Van Etten, NY, Jeanette (Richard Wright) of Millerton, PA, James (Kate) Edwards of Elmira, NY, Steven (Trina) Edwards of Temple, TX, Nina Byford (Alvin Brooks) of Elmira, NY, Joseph Edwards (Michelle Ruth) of Elmira, NY; sister; Helen Bloomenshine of Elmira, NY, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY, Friday, August 16th, 2002, 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral and committal services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 8:00 PM. The Reverend Howard Hunt will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul?s Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Evelyn was a wonderful mother, and grandmother. Her joy in life was the love her family gave her and the safety of her own home. She was a former member of the Elmira Moose. Memorials in Evelyn?s name maybe directed to the charity of one?s choice.
