Ernest W. Campbell

Ernest (Ernie) William Campbell Longtime resident of Southport, recently of Horseheads, NY Passed away peacefully on May 20, 2021 at the age of 98. Ernie was predeceased by his wife Beverley Lathrop Campbell and son, Gregory Alan Campbell, two sisters, Doris Morral of Wellsboro, PA and Shirley Sears of Painted Post. He is survived by his daughter, Ann Susan Campbell of Rochester, NY; sisters Naomi Weatherbee of Wellsboro, PA and Beulah Darling of Titusville, FL. Ernie proudly served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corp during W.W. II. He worked at American LaFrance in Elmira for 32 years until the closing of the plant. At Ernie's request, there will be no services.
