Ellen L. Gerow

Ellen L. Gerow Age 92 of Elmira, NY, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Elcor Nursing Facility, Horseheads, NY. Ellen was born in Elmira, NY on January 15, 1930 the daughter of the late Roland and Eleanor Barnhart Sherman. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Ellen is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Joe) Todd, Gail Wandell (Vernon Wilson); son Clayton (Maybelline) Gerow; 5 beloved grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and many beloved friends. Ellen was considered "Mom" to many. Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM with funeral and committal services there Wednesday at 5:00 PM. Internment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
