Elinor E. Ames

Age 73 of Bonaview Ave. Elmira, NY following a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her sisters; Margaret Swithers and Lillian York, brothers; John (Dorothy) Ames, Doug ( Marjie) Ames, numerous nieces and nephews, special friends; Marguarite Hauslauer, Ruth Tauschner, Nancy Boyd, Frederick Petrie and many Bingo Buddies. Elinor was predeceased by her sister Marcella Pettie and brother Phillip Ames. Elinor was a loving caregiver of her parents, aunt, uncle and a great role model to her nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira on Friday, September 13, 2002 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there, Friday evening at 8:00 PM. The Rev. Keith Kissel will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
