Edith H. Taylor

Edith H. Taylor, age 96, of Horseheads, NY passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018. She was born in Canton, PA on February 8, 1922 to the late Edward and Lula Hackett. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Edward Hackett, George Hackett and nephews.She worked at Eclipse, Grants, K Mart and Tops Market. Edith was a volunteer for RSVP (CVAV). She enjoyed flowers, sewing, crocheting and reading. Edith is survived by her daughter, Sandra Taylor. At Edith’s request there will be no funeral service. Burial will be in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chemung County Humane Society & SPCA, 2435 Route 352, Elmira, NY 14903. Philippians 4:11, for I have learned in whatever state I am to be content.
