Duane Mahlon Kernan

Age 2, of Elmira, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. Duane loved his Paw Patrol, cars, riding his motorized fire truck and swimming. He loved spending time with his Papa and Nana. Duane loved everyone who he spent time with. Duane was one very happy little boy. Duane had a very special bond with his Papa, Nana and his cousins, Thomas Cooper, Gina Duncan, Jackie Elia, and Ashley Granger; great aunt Estina Burlew (Howie Henderson) of Elmira; aunt, Sara; and he also liked picking on his 2 uncles, Allen and Alex. Duane will be missed by his mother, Cheyenne Williams, and his father, Kevin Kernan both of Elmira, NY;maternal grandparents, Charles and Jamie Griswold of Elmira; Anglea and Joseph Williams of Elmira; paternal grandparents, Karl and Liv-Helen Kernan of Watkins Glen, NY; uncles, Allen J. Andrusof Elmira; Alexander Griswoldof Elmira; Justin and Joey Williams of Elmira; great uncles, Sean (Tiffany) Griswold, Josh Burlew of Elmira. He will also be missed by his aunts, Sara Griswold of Elmira; Rosie (Jess) Crum of Elmira; Kathryn Williams of Elmira; Diana Williams of Elmira. He will be missed by his great great aunts, Ella Bonham of Elmira; Mary (Jack) Cooper of Millport, NY; Earl Bonham of Elmira, NY. He will be missed by his great grandmother and great grandfather Mickey Griswold and Thomas Middaugh of Elmira. He is also going to be missed by his paternal side as well. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira/Southport, NY on Thursday February 13, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
