Dorothy O. Kasper

Age 90 of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, passed away Friday, April 19, 2002 at home surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy is the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Mildred Baker Oldroyd.She was born in Roseville, PA on September 24, 1911.Dorothy is survived by: sons; Leroy (Linda) Kasper of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Laurence (Diane) Kasper of Elmira, NY, grandchildren; Mary (Sandy) Higgins of Blossburg, PA, Peggy (Dan) Benedict of Allentown, PA, Bryan (Laurie) Kasper of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Bradley (Kathleen) Kasper of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Laurie Young of Pine City, NY, Kathy (Andy) Marcus of Jim Thorpe, PA, Marty Kasper of Roseville, PA, 2 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren, brother; Rex (Isabelle) Oldroyd, of Roseville, PA, brother-in-law; Bernard Kasper of Venice, FL, and several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her husband Edward C. Kasper in 1990 and brother Judson Oldroyd in 1924.Dorothy was a member of the Roseville United Methodist Church. She was a past member of Rebecca?s and a proud former member of the DAR.Dorothy was a dedicated mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren making her home warm and happy for all.She loved all her animals and cherished everything about her family.Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.The Kasper?s will provide their own flowers and ask that any memorial donations be directed to the Roseville United Methodist Church, RR 2 Box 1655, Mansfield, PA 16933 or to the Guthrie Hospice.Arrangements are under the care of Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY 14904.Those wishing may light a ?Candle of Remembrance? at www.olthof.com.
