Dorothy R. Ham

Dorothy R. Ham, age 74 of Horseheads NY, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2023. Dorothy (Dotty) was born in Elmira, NY on February 16, 1948, to John Dombroski Jr. and Evelyn Jane (Butler) Dombroski. She graduated from Southside High School. Prior to retirement, Dotty was employed by West Gray St Super Duper, Light’s Bakery, Sears and Macy's. Dotty loved her grandchildren more than anything else in this world. She lived for them. Dotty is predeceased by her husband, Dennis A. Ham, her parents, and siblings Carol Campbell and John Dombroski III. She is survived by her son Dennis A. Ham Jr. and daughter-in-law Shelby (Lese) Ham, daughter Christine (Dille) Ham and son-in-law Gregg Dille, and most important of all, her beloved grandchildren, Danielle Dille, Nathan Ham, Drake Dille and Sydney Ham. She is also survived by her sister Josephine Arnold and brother Richard Dombroski and sisters-in-law Ruth Brennan and Esther Huntington. Dotty is also survived by her best friend and sister-in-law Janice Brown, whom she loved very much. There will be no calling hours. Instead, a private burial service and memorial will be held at a later time. Anyone wishing to make donations can contribute to the American Heart Association.
