MILAN, PA – Donna Jean Perry, 70, of Milan, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Born on July 11, 1952, she was the daughter of the late John and Ella (Miller) Polk. She graduated from Southside High School in 1970.
On March 22, 1975, she married the love of her life, Lloyd R. Perry and they shared 47 wonderful years together.
In 1979, Donna began a career that would span more than 40 years in direct care. She started at Martha Lloyd Community Services and later she went on to work for many years for Futures Community Support Services of Towanda, PA, ending in 2020.
Donna enjoyed her summers with family fishing, swimming and camping at Alpine Meadows Lakes in Stevensville, PA. She was well known to be a savvy (she may have bent the rules a time or two) card player. More than anything, she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Ethan Davis.
She is survived by her spouse, Lloyd R. Perry of Milan, PA; her children, JohnDee (Michelle) Perry of Milan, PA, JoElla (Terry) Paris of Gillett, JulieAnn Perry of Big Pond,, PA; her grandchildren: Ashleigh Chilson, Joel Chilson, Jonathen Perry, Alison Perry, JayDee Perry, Layne Brown-Swisher, Samantha McCaslin, Kristen Allison, Reece Davis; her great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, Jasmine, Deliliah; her sisters: Phyllis Woodruff and Beth Benjamin; her brother: John (Rita) Polk; her special friend: Fred Vanderpool; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
