Donna M. Mathews

ELMIRA – Donna M. Mathews, 64, of Elmira, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 after a brief illness at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira.Born in Elmira on October 8, 1956, she was the daughter of the late George and Sandra L. Mathews.She graduated from Southside Highschool Class of 1976. Donna enjoyed reading books, bingo and doing crossword puzzles.She was always there to lend an ear to anyone that needed someone to talk to.She was a great mother, grandmother, friend and will be especially missed by her cat, Gypsy.More than anything, she cherished the time that she shared with her family. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Chrystal M Campbell; and her step mother, Vivian L. Mathews. She is survived by her daughters, Tasha M. Lewis of Elmira, Melissa S. Campbell of Elmira; her son, Michael A. Stine of Kent, WA; her grandchildren,Maleah R. Williams, Jyair S. Williams, Jasante D. Williams, Joeseph A Weekes, Madyson S. Weekes; her brother, George Mathews III; her cat, Gypsy; as well as several aunts, uncles and close friends. Services will be private and at the convenience of Donna’s family.
