Donald C. Mcleod

ELMIRA – Donald C. McLeod, 93, of Elmira, passed away on December 26, 2021.Born on November 4, 1928 in Regina, Saskatchewan, he was the son of the late Charles and Alma (Townsend) McLeod. Donald honorably served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean War. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing and square dancing.He was an active member of his church and was past treasurer of the local retired Teamsters. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife of 66 years, Clara (Haight) McLeod, as well as his brother, sister and nephew. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Karl) Edelmann of Elmira; his son, Scott (Rochelle) McLeod of MA; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn, Sandy (Rocco); as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Due to the COVID pandemic, there will be no calling hours or funeral.A remembrance of his life will be held at a later date.
