Donald R. Gruver

Age 67 of Jackson Summit, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, December 30, 2002 after a short illness. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Betty Johnson Gruver; his daughter and son-in-law, Donna (David) Krauss of Blairstown, NJ; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas (Colleen) Gruver of Jackson Summit, PA; 5 beautiful grandchildren that he adored, Stacey, Bryan, Mitchell, Jacob, and Cole; 2 sisters, Helen Smith of Hackettstown, NJ and Florence Osborne of Crystal River, FL; 1 brother, Harry Gruver of Hackettstown, NJ; and many other relatives and friends. Donald was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He worked in the Production Dept. of M & M Mars before his retirement. His hobby was raising Black Angus beef cattle and traveling. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ on Saturday, January 4, 2003 at 11 AM. Rev. Jack Kroeze will officiate. Family and friends are also invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Millerton United Methodist Church, Route 328, Millerton, PA on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 11 AM .
