Donald L. Brill

Donald L. Brill Age 99 of Big Flats, NY, passed away at the Bath VA Medical Center on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Donald was born on July 9, 1922 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late Peter and Eva (Fleschut) Brill. Donald was a U.S. Army Veteran and a P.O.W. during World War II. Donald is survived by children, Patricia Drews, Michelle Burroughs, Constance Taddeo; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister, Mary Theresa Brill; daughter-in-law, Judy Brill; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Shirley Brill; brothers, Raymond Brill, Francis Brill; sister, Mary Pauline (Sis) Runyan; sons, Donald M. Brill and John A. Brill; grand daughter, Kathryn Robinson; sons-in-law, Paul Drews, John Burroughs, and Gabriele Taddeo. Interment will be held at Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY at the convenience of the family.
