Diane Susan Allegrucci-Sawyer

Diane Susan Allegrucci-Sawyer, age 73, daughter of Anthony Allegrucci and Janice Allegrucci, from Sayer, PA, peacefully passed away in her home early Friday morning, June 23rd, 2023, with her close friends and family around her, after battling metastatic Lung Cancer.
Our beloved mother has gone home to heaven and to all those that await her, mostly being our father William “Billy” Stanton Sawyer the III, who I’m sure has his dancing shoes on with a bouquet of red roses for his long awaited sweetheart.
Widowed at age 39, Diane single handedly raised four children, Leslie Sawyer age 53, Melissa Eaton, age 51, Lindsay Sawyer, age 39, and Anthony Sawyer, age 38. Early on in her life, Diane earned a business degree from Elmira Business Institute and was employed as a Secretary at Guthrie Clinic Hospital in Sayre, PA for 30 years. Later in her life, Diane worked as a 24 hour caregiver of several individuals who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease.
Several years later, Diane continued to care for her children and her grandchildren Michael Bernard age 26, Hailey Heimback age 15, Gage Spencer age 13, Alex Bowes age 13, Hannah Bowes age 10, and Evie Bowes age 3.
Diane remained supportive of many close friends and extended family over the years as well, providing her wisdom and advice that she learned along the way in her life.
Mom, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being many things to many people. For you were a master gardner, exceptional cook and baker, homemaker, housekeeper, caretaker, problem solver, and could run circles around anyone completing any task that needed to be done.
But most of all you were a great friend, supporter, mother, and grandmother. Your wisdom and imprint on our lives will forever be remembered and carried down through generations.
We salute you mom. Carry on in heaven, for you are an angel of angels. With love, your children.
