Dennis Albert Collins

Dennis A. “Denny” Collins, 59 of Elmira, NY passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Denny was predeceased by his parents, Irene Collins and Wille Newkirk; three brothers and 1 sister. Denny is survived by his wife of 30 years, Bessie Austin Collins; sisters, Rosie Bradford and Dorothy Collins; son, Alonzo Brooks; grandson and granddaughter; mother-in-law, Carol Austin; special nephew, Nathaniel Smiley; very special friends, Tim Horton and Ron-Ron; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Denny loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He was an avid Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed bowling. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who will be missed dearly by all. As per Denny’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held in the spring.
