David H. Tuell

ELMIRA – David H. Tuell, Sr., 77, of Elmira, died on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.Born on September 18, 1943 in Watertown, NY, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Eleanor (Barney) Tuell.David earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY and a Masters of Science in Engineering from the University of Bridgeport. On August 20, 2016, he married Carole I. Spencer of Elmira. David enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling, fly fishing, photography and traveling.He was a dedicated, hardworking, loving, family man with a great sense of humor. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth A. Conklin. Survivors include his wife, Carole I. Spencer of Elmira; his daughter, Tracy Belmont of Sanford, FL; his sons, David Tuell, Jr. of Shelton, CT, Richard Tuell of Sanford, FL, Marc Tuell of Deltona, FL; 9 grandchildren; his sisters; Lois Maxfield, Louisville, KY, Judy Nelepovitz of Westmont, NY; his brother, Larry Tuell of Oswego, NY; as well as multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.
