Saxbury, David Michael age 40 of Erin, NY (bi-line) Dedicated Local Union #112 sheet metal worker and Apprenticeship Teacher ? Coordinator. He was a devoted employee of Southern Tier Fabricators. David has gone home in the arms of his Lord Monday, October 1st, 2001 surrounded by his loving family at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Elmira, NY on the 29thday of September 1961. Surviving David his loving wife and friend Michelle Saxbury His two children who he was very proud of Nicholas and Hilarie. David is predeceased by his step Brothers Lenny Share and Art Share. Family and friends are invited to call at the Hand in Hand Free Methodist Church, 390 Warnick Street, Elmira, NY Wednesday, October 3rd, 2001 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held there Thursday, October 4th, 2001 at 1:00PM. The Reverend James Payne will officiate. Those knew David best for living his life to the absolute fullest, taking the time to love and thoroughly enjoy everything around him. Dave was admired by all for his strength and courage as he faced each and every day. He was strongly devoted and very active to the Hand in Hand Free Methodist Church.His strong faith in God helped to give him, his family, and those around him strength. He had a keen sense of humor that was always present even during his difficult days. Dave was a true lover of the outdoors, being an avid hunter he always loved to seek out the ?big bucks?.
