David Lynn Mesuch

David Lynn Mesuch Truck Driver for Narde Paving Co. age 53 of Millerton, PA passed away suddenly Monday, June 10, 2002 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center Elmira, NY. He was born January 14, 1949 in Elmira, the son of Walter and Stella L. (Skorczewski) Mesuch. He is survived by his loving son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Patty Mesuch of Lenoir, NC; Scott?s mother, Joyce Mesuch of Millerton, PA; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Jeanne Mesuch of Elmira, NY; loving companion and friend, Rita Benedict of Elmira, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Stella; sister, Barbara Mesuch. David was a Veteran of the US Army serving his country as heavy equipment operator in Viet Nam from 1968 - 1971. He was an employee of the Narde Paving Company in Horseheads, NY for several years. He was an avid NHRA Drag Racing fan and enjoyed NASCAR as well. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 from 7 ? 9 PM. A Prayer Service will be held there on Thursday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Mary?s Church 224 Franklin Street Elmira, NY. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn National Cemetery where the Chemung County Veterans Honor Squad will accord Mr. Mesuch full Military Honors.
