David Matthew Decker

David Matthew Decker Age 37, a resident of Elmira, NY, passed away unexpectedly at home. Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira, on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. David was born on August 5, 1983 in Concord, MA. He graduated from Linn-Mar High School (Iowa). David worked as an assistant manager for food services, most recently at Taco Bell in Ithaca. David is survived by his mother, Connie F. (Shepard) Decker; oldest brother, Morgan (Brandi) Decker III; nieces, Ariana and Kylee; nephews, Blair, Braden, Freddie, and Alec; younger brother,Dustin Demaree; sister, Mindy Demaree; aunts, Sandi Lutomski, Robin Conover, Jill (Phil) Cooper, Hope Shepard; and several beloved cousins. David is predeceased by his father, Morgan A. Decker, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Morgan A. Decker, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Bertha E. Decker; maternal grandmother, Mary L. (Clark) Shepard; aunt, Sharyl M. (Decker) Austin; uncles, Paul Lutomski and Garrett Conover. David was beloved and he will be missed dearly.
