Darrell L. Stansfield

Darrell L. Stansfield, a native and resident of Elmira, NY passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. He was 66 years old.  He was a talented mechanic who loved tinkering with his prized truck. He also enjoyed fishing and had a special talent with landscaping.

He was preceded in death by: his parents Bernard and Helen (Jestin) Stansfield; his brother Bernie Stansfield and his wife Sharon; his brother Ronnie Stansfield and his wife Pat; his sister Bonnie Heasley; his parents-in-law Earl and Bonnalyn Burgett; and his brother-in-law Kem “Klutch” Burgett.

He is survived by: his beloved wife of nearly 40 years – Kathy (Burgett) Stansfield; his sons – Jason and Greg Stansfield; his sister Roseann Grace and her partner David Colton; his brother-in-law Tom Heasley; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends and family are invited to visit during calling hours on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 2:00 -4:00 PM at Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY 14904.
