Dale A. Durfee

Dale Allen Durfee of Southport, NY passed away April 4, 2024 after a lengthy illness. He was born on March 15, 1964 to Arnold F. and Janette M. (Mathers) Durfee. He was pre-deceased by his father Arnold Durfee, brother Danny Durfee, sister Karen McQuaid, and his beloved pet Syd. Dale is survived by his mom Janette Durfee, his sons Dale Durfee, Jr. and Dean Durfee, his brother David (Linda) Durfee, sisters Diane (David) Shadduck, Kathy (Steve) Koen, and Barbara (Larry) Jenkins, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special friend Melissa Woodruff and special pet companions Rocky and Bella.

Family and friends are invited to services for Dale on Wednesday April 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY 14904 with a funeral immediately following at 2:00 PM with Pastor Faith Bogden officiating. Burial will then take place at Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Southport, NY.
