Age 100 of Pine City, NY and Wilkes Barre, PA passed away at home on Tuesday, December 17, 2002 surrounded by her loving family. Her husband, Joseph Koulik; son-in-law, Thomas Hurley; sisters, Nellie Rukstalis, Mary Davis, and Margaret Yatsko; and her brother, Peter Sankus, predeceased Constance. She is survived by her daughter, Ursula Hurley of Pine City, NY; grandchildren, Kim (Owen) Grant of Craig, CO; Camille (Richard) Brown of Big Flats, NY; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Pierce, and Thomas Noble; Thomas Brown, and Samantha Brown; great-great-grandchild, Kayce Pierce; and sister, Anne Sankus of Wilkes Barre, PA. Constance was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Wilkes Barre, PA. She loved ceramics, playing canasta, traveling, and game shows, but her first love was spending time with her grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY 14904 on Thursday, December 19, 2002 from 6 to 9 PM. Funeral services will follow at 9PM with Deacon Robert Stowell officiating. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 20, 2002 from 6 to 9 PM at the Frank Funeral Home, 124 S. Grant St., Wilkes Barre, PA 18702. At 8:30 AM on Saturday, December 21st, Constance?s nephew, Rev. Simon Rukstalis, will say a prayer at the Frank Funeral Home. The family will then proceed to the Holy Trinity Church on E. South Street, Wilkes Barre, PA, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 AM. Interment will follow in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Bear Creek, PA. Memorial donations may be made in Constance?s name to the Southside Booster Club, c/o Southside High School, 777 S.
