Connie F. Leister

Connie F. (Walker) Leister Age 57, born December 25, 1959 in Elmira, the daughter of the late Charles and Audrey (Strong) Walker, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Elcor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center after a valiant battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving children: daughter, Shaina Leister of Elmira, NY; and son, Kurtis Leister of Pine Valley, NY; siblings: brothers, Keith (Annette) Walker of Horseheads, NY; Larry Walker of Elmira Heights, NY; and sister, Marilyn (Eric) Uhler-VanStrander of Elmira, NY; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends. Connie loved her Trans Am and enjoyed taking it to car shows. She also enjoyed motorcycle riding, reading, especially outside, bird watching and spending time with her family, friends and her pets. There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to a Remembrance Gathering at the Hickory House in Pine Valley, NY on Saturday, August 12, 2017 starting at 8:00 pm.
