Clara R. Mcleod

Clara R. McLeod, age 86, of Elmira passed away peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Saturday, October 28th, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents. Clara is survived by her childhood sweetheart, loving and devoted husband of 66 years, Donald (Toby), children: Nancy (Karl), Scott (Rochelle), beloved sister and best friend, Carolyn, brother Robert, sister Sandra (Rocco), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many beloved friends. Clara enjoyed gardening, baking, square dancing, taking care of her home and family. She belonged to North County Seniors, Relaxed Squares, and was a very active member of her church. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY 14904 from 9 AM to 12 PM with a funeral service to follow at 12 noon with the Reverend James Crupi officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Clara.
