Christopher J. Lockwood

Lockwood, Christopher J. II, age 44, of Elmira, NY, passed away suddenly on October 4, 2015 as a result of an accident. Chris was born in Elmira, NY August 20th, 1971. He was an honor student and member of the Southside High School class of 1989. He loved his family and is survived by his loving parents: Christopher and Linda Lockwood of Elmira; sister: Deb (Dr. Chuck) Wilke of Horseheads, NY; nieces and nephew, whom Chris adored: Hannah, Noah, Sarah, and Adah; aunts and uncles: Karen Clark, Barb (Nick) Longo, Tom Swan, Cindy (Jeff) Barr, and Tim Lockwood.He is predeceased by his grandparents: Ted and Jean Swan and Irene Lockwood. Chris was a loyal and generous guy who loved his family and close friends.He was passionate about riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed the outdoors and huge campfires.Cars and motorcycles were his passion. Chris was a good cook, loyal friend, loving uncle, brother, and son. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. Memorial services celebrating Chris’s life will follow the calling hours at 2:00PM.
