Christine A. Woodard

Christine A. Woodard, RN of Elmira, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Arnot Ogden Memorial Hospital. Christine was born on March 21, 1966 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Donald F. and Lillian (Reed) Woodard. She is survived by sister, Susan (Matthew) Gauthier of Elmira, NY; brother Blair Woodard of Big Flats, NY; daughters, Stephanie (Brian) Grover of Elmira, NY, Brandee (Michael) Dodge of Alexandria, VA, and Amanda (Tristian) Pautz of Elmira, NY; beloved nephew, Wyatt Gauthier; cherished granddaughters, Skylar, Lacee, and Payton Grover, Olivia Pautz; and numerous family and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Ronald A. Woodard and Donald F. Woodard, Jr. Christine was a proud registered nurse since 1987. Most of her career of over 25 years was enjoyed at St. Joseph's Hospital. She delighted in caring for those most in need. Christine was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Services celebrating Chris' beautiful life will be held at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with funeral services there at 6:00 pm. Rev. Roger Reed, her uncle, will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
