Charles E. Thomas

Charles E. Thomas, Chuck, passed away on February 15th at Cayuga Medical Center. Chuck was born in Elmira, NY to Emma Thomas. He is survived by his partner Ruth Burroughs of Moravia, NY, and his sister Connie Thomas Clay (Jeff), of Mechanicsburg, PA, and an uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and the Dixie Lanes D'Angelo Family where he was an avid bowler for many decades and won many awards. Chuck went to school at the Elmira Free Academy, worked at the A & P Plant until it closed, then attended Corning College for computer sciences, and worked as a manager in Production Control Services in CIT Rhodes Hall at Cornell University for 30 years before he retired. A memorial service will be on Saturday, February 24th at 1pm at the Grace Church of the Nazarene, 431 Wygant Rd, Horseheads, NY 14845.
