Age 77 Of Milan, PA, went to be with his Lord August 9, 2003.His wife and closest friend of 56 years, Anna, survives him, as well as his children; Brenda Miller, Corinne (John) Shafer, Lewis (Donna) Daugherty, Wayne (Dena) Daugherty, Darlene Diniz, Lydia (Larry) Voorhees, Cindy (Danny) Miller, sister; Phyllis (Harry) Herbst, sister-in-law, Virginia (Robert) Sechrist, brother in-law, Leslie Liddic, 14 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, including his special helper Courtney, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. His parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and grandchildren, Nathan and Jennifer, predeceased Calvin.He was a United States Army Veteran of WW II and was wounded at the Battle of The Bulge. He retired from Dresser Rand, Painted Post, NY after 34 years of service and most recently worked at Dura-bilt Products. He loved his family, raising horses and farming. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, on Monday, August 11, 2003 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with funeral services there Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
