Brenda L. Burnett

PINE CITY – Brenda L. Burnett, 54, of Pine City, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.Born in Troy, PA on January 3, 1967, she was the daughter of John and Ruth (Carl) Barnes. Brenda had a passion for cooking and would show her love by preparing large meals for those she cared about. More than anything, she cherished the time that she shared with her family.She would do whatever she had to just to spend time with them. She was predeceased by her former husband, William Burnett. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Ferris J. Burnett of Elmira, Cameron Barnes of Elmira; her brother, Alonzo Barnes of Elmira; her sisters, Millicent Ruger of Horseheads, Dollie (Harold) Freeman of Henerico, VA, Jessie Bell of Trumansburg, Joni Bulter of Columbia Cross Road, PA; and her longtime companion, Bart Kenner of Pine City. A memorial service will be celebrated at 6 pm on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Pine City Christian Church, 1456 Penna Ave. in Pine City.Online condolences may be made by visiting www.olthof.com
