Bonnie J. Di Giacomo

Bonnie J. (Wainwright) Di Giacomo Was born June 19, 1948 in Corning, NY the daughter of Louis N. and Betty J. Wainwright; passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility at the age of 70. Her father, Louis preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, John J. Di Giacomo of Painted Post, NY; beloved children: daughter, Darcie L. Zimmerman of Elmira, NY; and her children: Christopher Clinton, Rebecca Clinton and Emily Clinton; son: Thomas J. Di Giacomo of Pennsylvania; brother: Terry Wainwright of North Carolina; mother: Betty J. Wainwright niece: Kimberly (Scott) Benjamin of Corning, NY; along with many other relatives and friends. Bonnie was employed by Woolworth’s in Corning as bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, sewing quilts and was an avid collector of Boyd’s Bears. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm.
