Bobby Gillette

Gillette, Bobby, Devoted husband and loving father. Age 27, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 13, 2001 at home surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 21, 1974 at Norfolk Naval Hospital in Norfolk, VA. He was a son of Van K. and Patricia Russell Gillette. Surviving are;His wife, Aimee Gillette of Santa Theresa, NM Children, Timothy Van and Christopher Lloyd Gillette of Santa Theresa, NM Parents, Van and Patricia Russell Gillette of Pine City, NY Brothers, Thomas (Angela) Gillette of Elmira, NY and Matthew Gillette of Southport, NY. Sisters, Krista Gillette of Elmira, NY and Jennilee Gillette of Pine City, NY. Paternal grandmother, Thera Kirkendall of Horseheads, NY. Maternal grandmother, Doris Russell of Elmira, NY. Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Bobby was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Wallace Gillette and Maternal grandfather, Kenneth Russell. Bobby was a 1992 graduate of Southside High School. Family and friends are invited to call Monday, December 17, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira. The funeral service will be held there Tuesday at 11 AM with Rev. James Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira where full military honors will be accorded.
