Beverly Ann Allen

Beverly Ann (Harchison) Allen, 89, a native and life-long resident of Elmira, NY, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025.  She was born June 4, 1935 to the late Frank and Therese (Costello) Harchison.  On October 25, 1969 she married the love of her life, the late Donald F. Allen.  She spent the next 50 years happily by his side, at times riding along on a motorcycle, or sitting next to him as he piloted a flight.  In addition to outings and adventures with Don, Bev enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  Bev was a longtime parishioner of the Parish of the Most Holy Name of Jesus.  She was employed by Treu Office Supply in Elmira, NY until her retirement.

She is survived by her sister Kathleen Miller, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Bev was much loved and will be dearly missed by all.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 224 Franklin Street, Elmira, NY. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1200 Walnut Street, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.
