Betty J. Mcginnis

Betty J. McGinnis Elmira, NY Age 90, passed away after a long illness, with her loving daughter Judy by her side on May 31st, 2019. Betty was born on June 24, 1928. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Ethel Nervick; her husband, Robert H. McGinnis; and special sister-in-law, Ann McGinnis. Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Judy McGinnis; Judy's brother, Robert H. McGinnis, Jr. (Kathy); special "grandchildren", Brittany (Kevin) Okimura, Robert McGinnis III (Samantha), and Michael McGinnis; along with nephews, nieces, and special friends. Betty was retired from Elmira Electronics, and also worked at New York Telephone. Betty loved gardening, working in her yard, caring for her home, and her daughter Judy (Sis).Betty had a kind heart, but also told it like it was! There will be no prior services. Betty will be laid to rest in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery privately, at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Betty's name may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
