Bernice Margaret Weston

Age 83, formerly of Flannery Apartments, died on December 5, 2002 at St. Joseph?s Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born in Sagetown, NY on March 5, 1919, the daughter of the late Fred & Frieda Mathew Kakritz. She is survived by her daughter Freida (Gary) Weeks, Liverpool, NY; granddaughter, Heather; grandson, Nathan; sisters, Dorothy Spoore, Rock Hill, SC, Ann Briggs, Horseheads, NY; brother, Charles (Josephine) Kakritz, Pine City, NY. Her sister, Florence Kirkpatrick died in 1991. Bernice had many loving nieces, nephews and friends among whom are Margaret & Emory Bennett, Julie & Justin McInerny & children, who visited her regularly. She was a member of R.S.V.P. and volunteered at the American Cancer Society for 17 years. At her request, there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter & Paul?s Church, 161 High Street, Elmira, on December 11, 2002 at 10:00 am, Rev. Patrick Connor officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul?s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
