Bernard L. Cosgrove

Bernard L. Cosgrove Was born June 26, 1926 in Corning, NY the son of the late Charles and Lena Mae (Nichols) Cosgrove, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Bath VA Medical Center. His loving wife, Helen A. Cosgrove preceded him in death, with whom he had spent 64 wonderful years of life, love and laughter. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Elese Cosgrove; daughter, Debra Cosgrove; siblings, Dorothy Morse and Gary Cosgrove; along with 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Bernie retired from Trayer Products after many years of dedicated service as a tool and die maker.He will be remembered for his sweet, lovable nature with a quite sense of humor. As a faithful husband, brother-in-Christ, amazing father; he was also adored by his children and his grandchildren with always selflessly giving them the pleasure of his time and attention. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. A Celebration of Bernie's life will follow the visitation at 3 PM. His son, Reverend David Cosgrove will officiate. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of his family in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
