Beatrice M. Cardone

Beatrice M. Cardone of Elmira, NY passed away Friday, August 9, 2002 after a long and courageous battle with her illness. Survivors include: son, David A. Cardone of Elmira, NY; daughter, Sandra Gilbert also of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Frank, Mark, Shannon and Kristen Gilbert; Jill Charles, Brandon, Jacinda and Tashina Cardone; great grandchildren, Ashley, Ethan, Jordan, Frank and McKenna; twin-sister, Bette Mitcheltree of Rochester, NY; sisters, Ernestine Herrick of Pennfield, NY; Jean Coe of Racine, WI; brother, Warren Roe of Bradenton, FL; along with many nieces, nephews, co-workers from the Post Office and many close friends. Beatrice was employed at the Elmira Post Office with over 30 years of service. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Sunday, August 11, 2002 from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours. (8 PM) The Reverend Howard Hunt will officiate. Interment will take place Monday, August 12, 2002 at 3:00 PM in the Rural Home Cemetery Big Flats, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Southern Tier Hospice 11751 East Corning Rd. Corning, NY 14830 or to a charity of one?s choice.
