Barbara O. Montanye

Age 75, of Elmira, NY, died Friday, June 14, 2002 in the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY. Barbara is survived by: her husband, Lyman W. Montanye; daughters; Donna & Robert J. Johnson of Pine City, NY, and Jacquelyn M. & Michael R. Brown of Elmira, NY; son-in-law, Gary R. Mattison of Elmira, NY; son, Jeffery L. (Terri L. Snyder) Montanye of Elmira, NY; grandchildren; Kristine (Tom) Hall; Karin (Michael) Fargo; Melissa, Nicholas, & Catherine Brown; Jarred, Sky & Cody Mattison; great grandchildren, Jordyn Fargo and Connor Hall; sister: Marge (Royal) Denson of Corning, NY, brothers: James (Barbara) Orcutt of Liverpool, NY, Edward (Kay) Orcutt of Horseheads, sister: Katherine Krazinsky of Annapolis, MD. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Earl W. & Marie A. Skillman Orcutt, her daughter, Lori Mattison, and her sister, Virginia Seeley. Barbara was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She was a payroll clerk for Bendix Corporation, but most of all loved being a homemaker to her family. She was always smiling and will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, on Monday, June 17, 2002 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with funeral services there at the conclusion of calling hours (8:00 PM). Rev. Dr. William Lutz will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be sent to Trinity Episcopal Church, 304 N. Main St., Elmira, NY 14901 or American Diabetes Association, NYS Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 31160, Hartford, CT 06150-1160 in Barbara?s name.
