Arthur Congdon

Arthur Congdon, Jr. Age 84 of Pine City, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2021, at home. Arthur was born in Elmira, NY, on April 12, 1936, the son of the late Ruth (Holly) and Arthur Congdon, Sr. Arthur was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army and was a retired employee of Trayer Products, Inc., Elmira. He is survived by son, Duane (Krista) Congdon; daughter, Karen (Jim Space) Congdon; grandchildren, Venessa (Jarred) Dove, Zachery (Amber) Stirrup, Carley (Brennon) Chilson, Cassandra (Michael Enright) Stirrup, and Michelle Congdon; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Rose) Congdon; sisters, Carolyn Lewis, Lorraine DeMark, and Evelyn Putney; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Congdon; twin brothers, Jack and Jerry Congdon; brothers-in-law, Richard DeMark and Donald Lewis; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shirley and Burdette Hall. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, NY.
