Arlene G Tobey, age 67, of Southport, NY passed away with dedicated family and friends by her side Tuesday May 14,2024 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Arlene was born May 18, 1956, to her late parents Glenn & Rosemarie (Adams) Hurd. Arlene was pre-deceased by her elder sister & brother-in-law Gayle & Merle, one of her triplets Mona and Mona’s son Lawrence. Surviving is her wonderful husband of 50 years Jack M. Tobey, her children Jack R.  and Dottie (Margaret), Danyelle (Dalton), grandchildren, Tiffanie (KB), Zachary, Brandon (Mary), Anthony (Rachelle), Tyler, Nathan, Adyn, Ryleigh, Karson, Logan, and Savannah. She was honored to have great-grandchildren Bryson, Kenneth, Liam, Elaina, Makayla, and Isabella. Arlene’s siblings Dee (Mike), Ricky (Sherry) brother-in-law, Chris and Christina, generations of nieces, nephews, cousins, and amazing friends.

Arlene was, the most amazing, beautiful, caring, no filter big hearted woman ever. Her smile would light up the room and your heart at the same time. Plus, she always has the best ears for any topic. Arlene loved her nails, flowers, and family so much. She will be truly missed by all but never forgotten. Glad we all have years of cherished memories of her.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 20, 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Southport Volunteer Fire Department, 1001 Carl Street, Southport, NY.
