Anthony Edwin Reynolds

ELMIRA - Anthony Edwin Reynolds, 50, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, after a brief illness.Born on March 6, 1970 in Sayre, PA, he is the son of David Eccleston and the late Joanne Reynolds. Anthony attended Waverly Central Schools.He enjoyed rooting for his favorite sports teams the New York Yankees and New York Giants.He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, fishing, spending time with his friends and family and his canine companion, Philly. Anthony is predeceased by his mother, Joanne. Survivors include his son, Tony Reynolds, of Elmira; his stepson, Kenny (Emily) Sindoni; his father, David Eccleston, of Waverly; his brothers, Shawn (Marlene) Reynolds of Corning, Jon (Keesha) Reynolds of Waverly, David Eccleston Jr of Waverly, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Anthony was lucky enough to have met lifelong friends who became family.After his illness Anthony lived with his brother-in-law Warren (Meagan) Morrison and family.Along with Warren, best friend Patty, Kenny and too many friends/family members to name, they provided Anthony with 24/7 care until his final moments. Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira, on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will take place in Glenwood Cemetery, Waverly, NY, at the convenience of the family.
