Age 79 of Elmira, NY Passed away at his home, peacefully in his sleep Friday December 6, 2002. Surviving Andy are his beloved wife of 56 years, Anne Y. Kotch; children, John M. (Karen) Kotch; and, Deborah A. (James) King; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 4 brothers and 1 sister and several nieces and nephews. Andy proudly served his country during World War II with the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post #358 of Pulaski, NY. Andy retired from Remington Rand and Kennedy Value after many faithful years of service. While working there he served as I.A.M. local union president. After leaving Kennedy Valve, Andy became the business representative for the I.A.M Union. Andy?s true love, next to his family and grandchildren, was hunting and fishing, which he excelled at. In addition, he was an avid golfer. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Monday, December 9, 2002 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at 12:30 PM in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY Those wishing may make memorial donations in Andy?s name to their charity of choice.
